Teresa Menka, born 1990, She discovered her love for photography at the young age of 15 when she first held a camera. In her own words, “it felt like home”. From that point onward, she pursued her dream of becoming a photographer.
Largely self-taught, Teresa explores the world around her through her photographs, using her camera as a compass to discover new frontiers of expressions of the human life. She describes her work as a personal reflection; creating and expressing herself through photography as a form of self-therapy. Her photographs are often humoristic and detail orientated. For her, Photography is a process of questioning and self-discovery and a means to document her relationship with her environment and how that evolves with time.
